You cant really tell what I did in this pic. but I swirled around the letters in jenns and loopy around my block then stippled reallly close together on doreens block and stippled really big on christi's block. You know I love pink so i had this dark pink and used it! Its not centered over the door frame but this was hard enough to get up there. maybe when andys home he can help me get it more centered....I want to Thank My friends Christi, Doreen and Jennifer for helping make this come true for me! I really wanted to have something made from each of them hanging in my sewing area. I love it and thank you very much!

Our church had a secret sister thing and I got to be part of the planning for it. My friend Stephanie suggested we make the bags out of fabric so that when its all done they can keep the bags too. Well wouldnt you know it, her machine is broke....LOL.....so guess who made all 27 bags....lol.... yep me.... but I think that the women were blessed by the whole event and Im happy that I got to be part of it. They will always have a bag from me, unless ofcourse they throw it away....lol anyways here they are!

Sebastian made this Lei, it is made with fresh flowers although they are wilted already but he did an awesome job....... Im soo proud of him.

My Wife the Quilter

My Wife, The Quilter
She learned to quilt on Monday
Her stitches were very fine.
She forgot to thaw out dinner,
So we went out to dine.

She sewed miniatures Tuesday.
She says they are a must.
They really were quite lovely,
But she forgot to dust.

On Wednesday, it was a sampler.
She says the stripping's fun.
What highlights! Oh what shadows!
But the laundry wasn't done.

Her charm quilt was on Thursday,
Green patches, blue and red
Guess she really was engrossed:
She never made the bed

It was wall hangings on Friday,
In colors she adores
But she never seemed to notice,
The crumbs on all the floors.

I found a maid on Saturday!
My wife is now complete.
My wife can quilt the hours away:
The house will still be neat,

Well, it's already Sunday.
I think I'm about to wilt.
I cursed, I raved, I ranted...
The MAID has learned to Quilt!!!!!

Here is my daddys Fathers day gift. It is a wallhanging, which I hope he hangs it up. This thing took me long time. and I really wanted to change it about half way through but couldnt unless I started over. I hope he likes it. I used stippling and stitch in the ditch. Mock binding and label on the back....

Here is my purse, I got to use it today, It feels good knowing I made it. I love my purse my sister made but seeing her make a new purse made me want to try making myself one too. so last night i spent 2 full hours working on this thing. it has three pockets on the inside, one that snaps closed and one of my cell phone and the other for gum. I love this fabric too, it has a oriental feel to it. If I use this fabric for another one, i may put a light brown on the inside instead of blk but I like this alot.

Ha ha, well i know theres NO picture! I went to take a picture of it and the battery was dead! So I have to wait till tomorrow to take pictures of it. Im very happy with it, My own creation using ideas from a bag I had made once. Woohoo!!!!

IM posting this cux its easier than emailin but these are my fabrics I got today for Grandmas quilt, so if you havent gotten yours jenn you can kinda see what I got its all from walmart. the blue turtle one is for sebastains hand, he picked it out so even though its a little dark its only for his hand so I hope it ok. I loved the tea cups so i had to get it, and i will incorporate it somehow.....
